The Macallan Triple Cask Matured 12 Years Old – 70cl is a single malt whiskey matured exclusively in Oloroso sherry seasoned oak casks from Jerez, Spain. The rich, fruity and full bodied ‘new make’ spirit is transformed into a classic single malt when matured in the oloroso casks.

The maturing spirit is left undisturbed in their casks for 12 years and is brought together in this rich and complex whisky characterised by spice and dried fruit and a natural rich golden colour.

The casks are sourced, crafted, toasted and seasoned under the watchful eye of the Master of Wood, then delivered to the Whisky Mastery Team. It is the oak that makes the greatest contribution to the quality, natural colour and distinctive aromas and flavours at the heart of this single malt whisky.

On the nose, it is sweet and crisp with notes of fresh apple blossom, floral notes, sherry, and sultanas.  On the Palate, it is Creamy and honeyed with some thick-cut marmalade, cinnamon and warm pastries.
